PROJECT 1:ME,MYSELF AND I

      Salam.Going into the class of Rus 104 for the 1st week and yet,the lecturers welcome us by assigning a project which i never expected to do in this APEX University.
      Project 1-Me,Myself and I.As a Quantity Surveyor's student,i have this expectation that i will start study the QS thing right after i step my foot into HBP's hall.So in Project 1a:Stewardship,i need to do sketching(self potrait),how i see myself in 5 years later,adding up writing my personal background,and what can i contribute for built environment as a Quantity Surveyor.There is part b for this project 1,which is Personal Logo.
      Having this secondary school's mind,i really astonished to do all of this simultaneously.Seriously I HATE drawing,i am not creative,i don't even know what Quantity Surveyor do though i'm taking this major!
      After watching few tutorial drawing videos in Youtube,google information about Quantity Surveyor and built environment,brainstorming ideas to make the logo for days and had a deep and foresight thinking about my short-term future,FINALLY i completed the project.And Yesssss!!I'm proud of it.

     After struggling for days,corcerning the hardship that i go through to complete everything before the dateline,it is important to know the significant of the project to myself.As Euripides,one of the three great tragedians of classical Athens in his qoutes said 'question everything,learn something,answer nothing',i need to ask myself.What do i get from this project?

This project teach me:

• Time management.Ok,it's mean last minute work is NOT appliable.
• Creativity.The logo surely dig out creativity inside me.Though i'm not really proud of it,at least i can create one.
• Qs Brief Understanding.I do know and understand now about Quantity Surveying and what they do.And being one,its very important matter.
• Self Appreciation.Having drawing(copying) my own face make me realise about how detail,complicated and beautiful is 'me'.God surely put flawless detail to create me.The drawing techniques that i applied,the patience to put some details to create the same face just like in the picture,the background that makes who i am now,the logo that symbolised myself,my plans for future and the senses of taking up the responsibility in the built environment have give me this important lesson.

Trail to SUCCESS:

         
1)I am a future Quantity Surveyor.
This is me,having a big dream contribute and do something to ummah by NOT merely being a great and successful QS,but to be a real muslim that is capable to carry the responsibility to sustain the earth and to build something that benificial to ummah,particularly for muslims community.It's not ONLY about the promising job oppurtunities,high salary,or etc.

2)I am University Sains Malaysia's student. 
And here i am,be given the oppurtunity to with the BEST-lecturers,schoolmates,coursemates,learning environment....

InsyaAllah,hope Allah would be together with me in this continue learning process in becoming the best i can be before i meet him.3 years to come and i will be graduate!!

            From this project,i have a quite irrelevant lesson,yet simple lesson to share.

We have been created PERFECT,by a PERFECT god,but yet Allah doesn't demand us to be PERFECT.We just need to be GOOD.
