FIRST TIME using A2 paper.not A3 paper.what we do is we chose a place to be our site analysis.
For
both Project 5a & 5b, each student need to choose one of these 6
neighbourhood areas from the list below:

Project 5a: Neighbourhood
Elements: Existing Condition
§ On A2-size presentation board,
students should draw the Key Plan (NTS – Not To Scale), the Location Plan (NTS)
and the Layout Plan of the chosen neighbourhood area in scale (1:500, 1:750 or
any appropriate scale).
§ For the layout plan, students
should indicate the exact name and dimension (size) of all neighbourhood
element observed in the chosen area as follows:

Network

Circulation: Type of street (street hierarchy) with its dimensions (size)

for Pedestrian, Cyclist and Disabled

or type of building (bungalow, semi-d, terrace etc.), lot size and setback,

Project 5b:
Neighbourhood Elements: Proposed Improvement
§ Based on the self-visit to the
chosen neighbourhood area (where its current condition is presented in Project
5a), students should propose some suggestions to improve the physical and
non-physical conditions of the neighbourhood area by presenting it graphically
in the Project 5b.
§ By using annotated sketches and
some descriptions (hand-written), students should make some suggestions for the
improvement of:

Network (vehicular circulation, pathways for pedestrian, cyclist and disabled
etc.)
ii)
Lot
Layout
iii)
Public
Open Space
iv)
Public
Facilities and Amenities
v)
Landscape
and Street Furniture.
and i chosed Sunway Bukit Gambier,Penang.
And i do like consecutive mistakes here.Let's just look at the pictures that i took when i did the site analysis.
when i do the site analysis,with my friend which is not hbp student,i realised that even though the site is nearest to usm,it is very big.LIke huge!we walk in the rain.and it's gated area.the guard let us in(which he shouldn't because we should get consent first).and to mention the guard looks drunk.we snap pictures.

tomorrow,i go to the site again.with other 3 company,which are hbp students.i managed to gather with them after being individual yesterday.and we got cought by a guy.he is a commitee member in this housing area.he said we should NEVER walking and wandering around the gated area.we can be suspicious and accused if something missing in the area.it means we can go to the JAIL!Ouch!he helped us by getting consent from treasurer of sunway's gambier commitee member.so now,we need to back to work.drawing!!!

unfortunately,we just realised that the site plan is very very huge.it's hard to determine the scale of the plan drawing.so i change plan.i chosed another site,which is bayan residence.and doing everything all over again makes me feel ARGGGGHHH!!

and,after that.everytHing gets easier.Alhamdullilah.i do my work with other few friends that chose bayan residence.we go to the site.and these are the pictures.

after spending more than 2 days,days and night,i finally finish the project.LIke how cool is that?considering my hardship.i really proud of my work.

LESSON
1)CAREFULLY PLAN: I should plan which site should i choose before doing site analysis.i should have known that only few peoples chose Sunway Gambier as the site plan is very big and complicated to draw in proper scale.as i do the mistake by chosing the hardest site,i waste my time.
2)FOLLOW THE STANDARD PROCEDURE: I learned that we should follow the correct procedure to do site analysis in gated area.we shouldn't just enter the site without the consent of owner the area.
3)TEAMWORK: i finally acknowledge the power of teamwork.seriously,before i like to work alone.in my own room.from this project,i once went to site alone.and it feels really lonely.i faced the hardship alone.after i do the project together with friends,the work getting easier.more ideas.more correction.more relax moment.

GIVE UP ONCE.GIVE UP TWICE.BUT NEVER TURN BACK.KEEP WALKING.AND WALKING.KEEP HOPING.BECAUSE WE WON'T FIND THE LIGHT IF THERE IS NO DARK.
